AU from the same setting as Hank: modern-day urban supernatural. An ancient vampire hunting society going up against ancient hidden societies of vampires uses a mixture of supernatural elements, including tortured and brainwashed vampires of their own. Connor is one of these, paired up with Hank, a werewolf who joined as a last ditch resort to fight vamires after a drug made from their blood was responsible for killing his son. They realise this is all pretty fucked up only after Connor dies (again), and gets better (again). They've been fighting to break down this whole set up every since.
